General Advent Wreath Blessing

(Begin with the Sign of the Cross)

Heavenly Father, thank you for the abundance of blessings you have showered upon us.  Those we have realized and those we have yet to discover. You promised to send a Light into the World - a light whose brilliance would be seen by your creation. May we experience the fullness of that Light this Advent.  We ask you to bless this Advent Wreath and our time spent together preparing for Your Son, the Light of the world. Help us to reflect that light to all we meet.  We ask this in Jesus' name.  Amen!
