Welcome to St. Monica!

In Baptism all of us belong to the one Body of Christ, the universal church.  I hope that you will join us as we build the Kingdom of God in our community and world.  Our Mission Statement speaks of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus tells us:  “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

St. Monica Parish has numerous ministries filled with people serving the Lord.  Everyone is encouraged to seek a deeper understanding of what it means to use our time, talents, and treasure by serving in these ministries. We strongly believe every new member brings new qualities to the parish, offering distinct talents to the body.  Your own presence enriches us and builds up the life of the Church.  Prayerfully consider what unique gifts you and the members of your household might bring to our parish, and how you might best share them with us to build up the Body of Christ.

As you review our website, search out for yourself the many opportunities to participate in our community.  Besides our many ministries, there are several classes for learning more about the bible, our faith and the relationships all around us.  We are excited about our website because it helps to connect you with the many activities of Parish life.

Please contact me or any of the parish staff if we can be of service, and know that you are always in my prayers.

See you at church!
