Middle School Youth Ministry
St. Monica's Middle School Youth Group meetings are held on Thursday evenings at 7PM in the gym and family center.

Middle School Lock-in
RSVP now for the Middle School Lock-In! 12 hours of fun, games, movies, and lots of food! The goal is to stay awake all night, though sleeping arrangements will be made just in case you need a nap. Packing list and more info will be emailed out closer to the event.
Starts: Friday May 30th, 2025, 8pm.
Ends: Saturday May 31st, 2025, 8am.

Steubenville Northwest
The deadline to register for Steubenville Northwest is May 20th.
All current 8th through 12th grade students are invited to join and bring a friend! Step out of your routine and give a weekend to see what God wants to do in your life alongside other young people who are doing the same!
When: July 11 - 13 (FRI-SUN)
Where: Davenport Grand Hotel Spokane, WA
Cost: $410 per student. Please write a check for the full amount to St. Monica Church. Click here if you'd like a $250 discount!

Ignite Your Torch Northwest
The deadline to register for Ignite is May 20th.
All current 8th through 12th grade students are invited to join and bring a friend! Step out of your routine and give a weekend to see what God wants to do in your life alongside other young people who are doing the same!
When: July 16 - 20 (WED-SUN)
Where: University of Portland, OR
Cost: $495 + parish fee. You are welcome to pay the full amount immediately or pay the deposit and write a check to St. Monica Church for the remaining cost. Click here if you'd like a $250 discount!

Learn how YOU can help this year with VBS!
This Summer's Vacation Bible School (VBS) camp theme is Egypt — Joseph's Journey from Prison to Palace. We are still recruiting volunteers (both teens and adults) to help put on this great program! VBS will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church on June 23-27. You can volunteer to help by clicking here.
Summer Youth Conference Discount for Helping with VBS
We are offering a $250 discount on either of our Summer Youth Conferences (Steubenville NW or Ignite NW) if a student or parent is able to help our Vacation Bible School for the duration of the week, from 8:30am-12:30pm on June 23-27! I would love to see you all there, and it's a great opportunity to save some money on these conferences as well! Please email sharon@stmonicami.org with any interest or questions!
Meet Sharon Phillips, Pastoral Assistant for High School Youth Ministry
Hello all! My name is Sharon Phillips, I’m originally from Northern California, and I studied Theology and Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am so excited to join this parish family and serve you all in faith! Some fun facts about me are that I love sports, music and art, and food. I am a big fan of quality time and that includes getting to know you, so please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself and your families to me!

Meet Kelsey Heintz, Pastoral Assistant for Middle School Youth Ministry
Hello all! My name is Kelsey Heintz and I am so excited to be the new Middle School youth and campus minister for St. Monica's and Sacred Heart! I have been volunteering in youth ministry at my home parish for the past ten years and I am looking forward to building a fun and lasting program for this parish family! Some fun facts about me are that I am a licensed Esthetician, I'm an only child, and I have my black belt in taekwondo! In my free time I love spending time with my friends, reading, traveling, or learning a new hobby. I can't wait to meet you so feel free to say hi if you see me!
