Prayerfully reading and reflecting on the Word of God in Sacred Scripture is an important aspect of the mature Catholic Christian life. To some, fostering this practice of reading the Bible can seem a daunting and overwhelming task. Bible studies are one way in which we can grow in our understanding of Sacred Scripture within the context of community.
Adult Bible Study Groups
St. Monica has two general Adult Bible Study Groups which meet weekly to study the Word of God in Scripture, every Fall through Spring. One group meets on Tuesday evenings and the other meets on Wednesday mornings. Our Bible Study Groups have finished their 2025-2026 program year! The groups will begin new bible study courses in the Fall of 2026. More information will be provided about the upcoming studies as we get closer to those programs.
Walking With Purpose Women's Bible Study Group
Walking With Purpose Bible studies combine personal study with small group discussion, linking our everyday challenges to the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. If you desire to grow in your faith—in a supportive community of Catholic women—Walking with Purpose is for you! Visit our Walking With Purpose page for more information about this group, including a current schedule of meetings.
