Feast of Corpus Christi Sunday, June 22 is the Feast of Corpus Christi , also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, which is our liturgical celebration of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Our 11AM mass will conclude with a Eucharistic Procession to the grotto, and a recitation of the divine praises. The celebration of a Eucharistic procession is a way Catholics can serve as public witnesses to Christ. It’s also a way for our community to congregate and invite the greater community of Mercer Island to encounter Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. “We entrust these streets, these homes, our daily life, to his goodness. May our streets be streets of Jesus! May our houses be homes for him and with him! May our life of every day be penetrated by his presence,” said Pope Benedict XVI, during his homily on Corpus Christi on May 26, 2005. We invite you to join our Eucharistic procession and celebrate the gift of Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. May God bless you!

Scam Email Warning The parish staff wants to warn parishioners that someone has been sending emails pretending to be Father Nagel, parish staff members, and our former pastor, Father Freitag. Scam emails typically say that Father is "in need of help" ask if "you are available for an errand" or just asks the recipient to "please respond concerning a sensitive matter". These emails (or texts) are a scam and should be deleted whenever they are received. Legitimate emails from parish staff members will always be sent from an email address ending with " @stmonicami.org ". If you have any questions, feel free to contact the parish office directly at parishoffice@stmonicami.org
